Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are working on a deal for FC Porto winger Jesus Corona as the player has an expiring contract next summer thus could be available at a cut rate. The 28 year old has been a fixture for Porto in recent years and brings lots of creativity and Champions League experience if the deal were to go through. Porto are asking for 13 million euros to sell the player but Milan are offering a maximum of 10 million euros at the moment. Porto will surrender 40% of the sale value to FC Twente who have a resale clause on the player.
Calcio Mercato are reporting that it is an option for the player to sign a one year renewal at Porto so he can join on a loan with an option to buy at 10 million euros. This would be a similar operation to the reported terms for Bakayoko. The player has a Portuguese passport thus would not take up a non EU spot but plays for the Mexico national team.
