Olivier Giroud

All eyes will be on the Frenchman for this game. Ibrahimovic is not back yet so the pressure is on the new signing to deliver and carry the team for a while. The striker is going up against an experienced Serie A defence as Colley, Yoshida and Berezynski will be looking to outmuscle him. Looking for a big announcement of his arrival given the strong displays from the pre season.

Mike Maignan

Another new signings and another big set of boots to fill. Maignan will be facing one of the most experienced strikers in the league on his debut and a free flowing attack with Quagliarella, Candreva and Damsgaard. The keeper would surely love to start with a clean sheet in his first full 90 minutes at Milan.

Mikkel Damsgaard

The attacker has broken onto the scene with some wicked displays at the Euro 2020 and will be going up against his national team compatriot Kjaer. The winger will be a nuisance down that right hand side up against Calabria and has a good long shot as well as the ability to threaten from set pieces. Milan will want to isolate him and break the passing lanes to Quagliarella.
