Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AC Milan are working to bring back Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea FC after two years since his original loan spell. The midfielder has spent the past two season away at AS Monaco and Napoli as he does not fit into Chelsea’s plans. Milan are close to an agreement with Chelsea on a loan deal for the French midfielder.
Daniele Longo is reporting that Chelsea triggered the one year renewal option in Bakayoko’s contract to allow this deal to happen. His contract was set to expire next summer but has been extended to 2023. This allows Chelsea to loan him and include an option to buy.
Antonio Vitiello is reporting that Milan met with the agents of the player at Casa Milan yesterday to find an agreement with the player and to track the progress being made with Chelsea on the overall deal. The talks were positive and this deal is close to completion.
Nizaar Kinsella is reiterating that Bakayoko has always given his preference to Milan, the player is eager to return to the Rossoneri.
