Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AC Milan will sign AS Roma veteran right back Alessandro Florenzi on a season long loan with an option to buy. Florenzi leaves on his third consecutive loan following spells at Valencia and PSG. The former captain will likely be alternated to play as a right winger and a right back for the Rossoneri this season.
MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan will pay 1 million euros for the loan and the buy out clause is set at 4.5 million euros. The total operation would thus be worth 5.5 million euros for the 30 year old.
Calcio Mercato are reporting that the player forfeit one month’s salary or about 400,000 euros to push the deal through demonstrating his desire to join the Rossoneri.
Sky Italia via MilanLive.it are reporting that there are simply some small technicalities to work through before finalising the move. They report that Florenzi will likely undergo his medicals in the next 24 hours to complete the move. Florenzi is expected to be in Milan today to move the process along.
