Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are still searching for a new attacking midfielder to replace Hakan Calhanoglu. Milan have been in constant contacts with Chelsea FC over a move for right winger Hakim Ziyech as the player can cover two roles along with the trequartista one. There has been a lot of business and talks with Chelsea this summer as Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud have already arrived. Ziyech has been out of favour in London hence could favour a move to a club where he will be a protagonist.
Separately GdS via MilanLive.it are reporting that Ziyech has always been at the top of the list for Milan but the issue with signing the Moroccan international is the overall cost between the transfer fees and his high wages. Milan want a loan with an option to buy but it is difficult to convince Chelsea to go for this option. The track continues but would require a major shift to pull this off.
