Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan might get lucky and manage to offload injury prone defender Mattia Caldara to Torino this summer as the club seem keen on him. Caldara has been one of the most unlucky signings of the club ever as his career has been derailed by injuries and will rank as one of the worst value for money signings given the 35 million euros spent on him plus his 2.2 million euros per year wages. Torino have reached out to Milan to discuss a potential move but they might need to sell before they can get him. The idea is for a loan with an option to buy. Torino would also want support to cover his wages.
Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that Torino alongside Venezia are showing interest but the wages of the player would be a complication for both sides. Caldara does not seem to be in the plans of Stefano Pioli hence freeing up that space in the squad is important.
