AC Milan released their third kit for the 2021/22 season on their website today. The shirt was launched in a live streamed event by PUMA called ‘The Show’ on Youtube as the brand discussed the motivation behind the template for the third shirts for about 10 clubs this season. The other clubs using the same template for their PUMA third shirt are: Manchester City, Valencia CF, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Olympique de Marseille, Stade Rennais F.C., Shakhtar Donetsk, Fenerbahçe, Krasnodar and PSV Eindhoven.
The shirt features an unusual design with the crest of the club on the back and text featuring the name of the club on the front. The PUMA logo in centred and the logo is embossed across the shirt. The shirt is black with red accents and the sponsor logo in white.
The new AC Milan Third jersey combines 100% recycled polyester with advanced PUMA dryCELL thermoregulation technology. PUMA has also utilised an innovative Dope Dye manufacturing process to drastically reduce the amount of water and dye used during production, to further their goals of creating more sustainable products.
