MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are desperate to offload out of favour left back Andrea Conti who has struggled with injury at the club since joining the club from Atalanta in the summer of 2017. The defender was sent out on loan to Parma last season but was not redeemed following the relegation of the club to Serie B. Milan still ahve the player under contract until the summer of 2022 and he earns 2 million euros a year which is a major stumbling block to sell him. Milan would need to sell him at about 5 million euros this summer to cover the residual value on the balance sheet and avoid a loss on the player.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that it is important to note that Conti was not called up for the friendlies against Real Madrid and Panathinaikos in recent weeks and the player’s name is not present on the online shop for the current season’s shirts. There is interest from Sampdoria but not concrete offers have come through yet.
