AC Milan Face Panathinaikos Tonight In Trieste As Kessie Misses Out On The Squad

Milan will be looking to finish their pre season tour strong with a win back on Italian soil ahead of the league next week.

AC Milan

After trips abroad to take on Nice, Valencia and Real Madrid, AC Milan are back in Italy and, on Saturday 14 August at 20:30 CEST, will take on Panathinaikos. The game in Trieste is the final match in the $ACM Fan Token European Summer Tour 2021 and the last test ahead of the start of the competitive season. Milan have worryingly only scored one goal from open play in the previous three games.

Milan will be missing Franck Kessie for the game as he sustained a muscle injury in training this week thus the reunion with Ismael Bennacer will be postponed for a couple of weeks. The Rossoneri will be looking to take an attacking approach to this game to get Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic locked and loaded for the opener next week.

Stefano Pioli’s squad for the game includes:

Maignan, Plizzari, Tătărușanu.

Ballo-Touré, Calabria, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Romagnoli, Tomori.

Bennacer, Castillejo, Díaz, Krunić, Pobega, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

Capone, Giroud, Leão, Maldini, Rebić.
