Sky Sport Italia are reporting that AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has suffered an injury a day after returning to training with the club following a packed season and summer where he featured at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for his national team. The midfielder felt some pain at the end of the training session yesterday and underwent some tests this morning. He appears to have a muscle strain to his flexor. The degree of the injury has not yet been determined nor has a timeline for his return but it seems certain that the midfielder misses the opening game of the season up until the international break. Sky are reporting that the management will now need to focus on a midfielder in the remaining days of the market.
Vito Angele is surprisingly reporting that Milan’s management has decided to go in for Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea FC as a result despite the track slowing down over the summer as a starting level player is needed now.
