AC Milan on their website have officially announced the departure of left winger Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt after just one year. The Norway international will join on a loan with an obligation to buy dependent of certain conditions that have not been disclosed. As per previous reports, the buy out clause will be set at 12 million euros which represents a good capital gain for the Rossoneri after buying him for 4.2 million euros just a year ago. The 21 year old showed a lot of promise but struggled for playing time behind Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao and struggled for the opportunity to grow and develop on the pitch as he fell out of favour with Stefano Pioli toward the end of the season.
Hauge played 24 games for Milan last season scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist, including some incredible individuals goals in the Europa League against Celtic FC and Sparta Prague.
