AC Milan on their website have officially announced the permanent signing of Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali following his year long loan at the club last season. The midfielder has signed a five year deal with the club until June 2026. The 21 year old is one of the top midfield talents in Italy and will an important player for the club for years to come. Tonali played 37 games for Milan across all competitions last season largely substituting in for Ismael Bennacer and covering for him when injured.
Tonali signed his contract on Wednesday and was present at Milanello for the start of the pre season yesterday. As we reported here, Milan have secured Tonali for 20 million euros plus Giacomo Olzer down from the original 35 million euro agreement. The wage of the player has also been reduced from 1.6 million euros per year to 1.2 million euros per year.
