AC Milan

AC Milan via their website have officially announced the contract renewal of defender Davide Calabria until June 30th 2025. The right back’s current deal was set to elapse next summer and the management acted quickly to avoid a sticky situation. The right back is part of an important group of Primavera players who supported the Rossoneri in difficult years alongside Manuel Locatelli, Patrick Cutrone and Gianluigi Donnarumma but he is the only one to remain now. The 24 year old has been with the first team of Milan since the 2014/15 season but only began playing regularly in the 2017/18 season. Calabria has racked up 151 appearances in that time scoring 5 goals and providing 10 assists.

Antonio Vitiello is reporting that Calabria will receive a massive upgrade to 2.6 million euros per year including bonuses. His salary has practically doubled since his previous deal. The defender is also tipped to take up a leadership role.
