MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan’s management have reached an agreement for the contract renewal of right back Davide Calabria. The defender is now the only Primavera player to remain at the club from the class that included Gianluigi Donnarumma, Manuel Locatelli and Patrick Cutrone. Calabria did well to establish himself as the undisputed starter last season and has been a solid part of the squad. The 24 year old has 151 appearances for Milan under his belt where he has scored 5 times and provided 9 assists.
Calcio Mercato are reporting that the defender has signed an extension for four years until 2025 as his current deal was set to expire in 2022. The announcement is expected imminently.
Nicolo Schira is reporting that the renewal is worth 1.75 million euros per year but other outlets are reporting 2 million euros. All outlets are confirming the deal until 2025. His wage has been just about doubled.
