MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan must sell some players before they can make a big investment in this transfer window as the Rossoneri have already spent a humongous 40 million euro on Mike Maignan and Fikayo Tomori and that number will likely hit 50 million euros when Sandro Tonali is redeemed.

The outlet are reporting that the following players could end up on the chopping block:

Jens Petter Hauge: 12-15m euros. Unfortunately, he has lots of talent but Milan see to value the capital gain more at the moment.

Rafael Leao: 25-30m euros. I find it unlikely that he leaves if Hauge does, we need a back up left winger and he can play as a striker.

Andrea Conti: 4-7m euros. Will likely exit as there is no space for him in the squad.

Mattia Caldara: 3-5m euros. Milan will evaluate him but I cannot imagine him staying.

Tommaso Pobega: 12-15m euros. He has talent but surely cannot compete in the current midfield.

Samu Castillejo: 7-10m euros. His time at Milan has run it’s course and he needs to be sold and upgraded urgently.

The areas where Milan need to invest is an attacking midfielder, a striker and a right winger urgently. Some other needs are a backup right back, backup left back, backup defensive midfielder.
