Brescia Midfielder Happily Takes Pay Cut To Complete Move To AC Milan

Milan are slowing picking up the loanees from last season.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan and Brescia have been in a complex negotiation over the redemption of Sandro Tonali following his year long loan. Two more points have come out regarding the terms. Firstly, the terms of the loan deal negotiated previously expired on June 15th hence all figures being discussed now are new. As part of that expiration, Milan reportedly got a 5 million euro refund from Brescia on the 10 million euro loan fee as he was not redeemed.

Secondly, Antonio Vitiello is reporting that Tonali has even accepted a pay cut to push the deal through as it is expected the player will return to the Rossoneri this week. The report notes that there were no complaints from the player over this.

La Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that had already planned and budgeted a saving on the 1.6 million euro salary of Tonali for next season. The midfielder currently earns 130k euros per year at Brescia.
