Only one AC Milan player will be in the semi finals at the Euros as Simon Kjaer led his Denmark side to a 2-1 victory of Czech Republic in the quarter final yesterday.
Simon Kjaer - Denmark
Kjaer has been an incredible performer for the Euros but moreover has shown his ability to lead and hold a group together. Denmark had to recover from the emotional and mental trauma of seeing a teammate collapse on the pitch whilst simultaneously losing their best and most creative player in the incident where Christian Eriksen collapsed. Despite this and losing their opening two games, Denmark have become the dark horse pulling off upsets and convincingly making their way to the semi finals where they will face England later this week. Denmark beat Wales and Czech Republic in their knock outs games thus far and will look to cause issues for England. Kjaer has played every game and has been instrumental in coordinating his back line that has held up well as the tournament goes on.
