AC Milan have officially announced on their website that they have loaned out former Primavera striker Lorenzo Colombo to SPAL in Serie B for the season. The 19 year old striker scored 2 goals last season as he spent the first six months at Milan where he scored once and the second six months at Cremonese where he scored once. He made 22 appearances for both clubs last season. Milan still have faith in the player hence want him to develop further out on loan as he has the characteristics to be a top striker in a few years.

The striker was left out of the squad to Nice this morning hence it was certain that the deal would go through especially following the comments made by the technical director of SPAL following his meeting at Casa Milan during the week as we reported here. This is a big opportunity for him to get some playing time and develop his skills to show that he can be a reliable striker.
