Two players from AC Milan have been called up by their national teams to play at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo beginning at the end of the month. The group stage will be played between the 22nd and 28th of July. The finals are set for the 7th of August if each of the players make it that far.

Franck Kessie has officially been named in the squad for Ivory Coast for the games. He joins compatriots such as Eric Bailly and Max Gradelas one of the few over 23 players. Kessie is 24. They are in a group with Brazil, Germany and Saudi Arabia.

Pierre Kalulu had already been officially called up by the France side last week. He will be one of the youth players in the side as he is only 21 years old. They are in a group with Japan, Mexico and South Africa.

Brahim Diaz was expected to be called up by Spain but was not and he is also yet to secure a return to Milan officially.
