MilanNews.it are reporting that the directors of Serie B side SPAL were in Milan yesterday to meet with AC Milan’s management at Casa Milan to discuss a potential deal for young striker Lorenzo Colombo. SPAL’s technical director Giorgio Zamuner was present to find an agreement for a move for Colombo likely on a year long loan.
Pianeta Milan caught SPAL’s director leaving Casa Milan and he said that a deal is close for Colombo hence we can likely expect the youngster to leave for the season again. Milan will thus have Ibrahimovic and Giroud up front but that is the end of the depth.
Colombo spent last season in between Milan (for the first six months) and Cremonese (for the following six months). The striker scored 1 goal for Milan and 1 goal for Cremonese, the numbers are not impressive but the player has a lot of potential hence the club continue to put their faith in him ad his development.
