MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are still monitoring Marseille youngster Boubacar Kamara despite having Tommaso Pobega in the squad to fill in the fourth midfielder spot. The report notes that Tiemoue Bakayoko is also an option but the track is harder. The Marseille player is valued at about 17-20 million euros given he is a year away from his contract ending but about 12 million would be sufficient to convince his club.
The President of Marseille spoke to the press via Calcio Mercato to say:
“It’s a complicated question. Having a player with an expiring contract is not pleasant, especially when the player in question is from the youth sector, I do not like having a player at the end of the contract in my team. Nobody is above the club. The position of OM with all players is that we do not want to have them expire at the end of the season.”
