Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are making Josip Ilicic a top target for the side this summer as he has a deal expiring next summer. He can be secured at a bargain price and has a lot of experience in Serie A hence would provide good cover.
MilanNews.it are reporting that Ilicic has remained a target for the Rossoneri throughout this transfer window despite the difficulty to negotiate with Atalanta. The 33 year old now seems to have a reasonable fee attached and would be open to a move. He is versatile hence could rotate with the right winger, the attacking midfielder and even play as a second striker. This is a big draw in his favour as he could really help as attacking depth. The report also adds that Samu Castillejo may need to be sold first to facilitate this deal.
Interestingly, Milan Club Slovenia are claiming that Ilicic will join citing his entourage. The details will be a 4 million euro transfer fee and a 2.5 million contract per year.
