AC Milan Preparing Contract Renewal Offer For Women’s Captain and Top Scorer

MilanNews.it via MilanPosts are reporting that AC Milan Women’s captain Valentina Giacinti was present at Casa Milan yesterday as she is expected to sign a contract renewal with the club. The report notes that she will sign a new deal until the summer of 2024. She has been the captain of the side since it was established in 2018/19 and has consistently been the top scorer for the side. She is an exceptional leader and has shown her ability to command this side this season taking them to the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the first time ever. The deal is not closed yet but is very close.

Pietro Mazzarra is also reporting the same and notes the renewal will be signed soon. Giacinti scored 18 goals last season, 9 goals in the season before and 21 goals in her first season in Serie. A total of 48 goals in three seasons for the Rossonere makes her the top performing no. 9 in red and black this since 2010.
