Tuttosport via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan are working hard to close the deal for Kaio Jorge and have reportedly upped their offer to Santos to 7 million euros to beat out the competition from other clubs especially Juventus in recent weeks. The report adds that the Rossoneri are attempting to find an agreement with the Brazilian club this week. As previously reported here, it is expected that his intermediaries will be speaking to a number of clubs across Europe this week to find a deal so Santos can cash in on him ahead of the winter.

Radio Rossonera are reporting that the striker turned down a big offer from the MLS. They add that the Rossoneri have put in a new offer worth 4 million euros plus 2 in bonuses but paid over multiple years. They also not that Jorge could be eligible for a Portuguese pssport hence would not occupy a non-EU slot.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Milan want the young striker to supplement Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud for the season. It would be an incredible opportunity for him to develop behind two standout strikers. Milan initially offered 5-6 million euros for him but Santos are holding out for 10 million euros. Milan will meet his intermediaries this week and could agree on a commission with them to push the deal through.
