AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli will be evaluating former Primavera striker Lorenzo Colombo in the pre season over the next month to determine his future. The striker played for the first team for 6 months last season scoring once before going on loan to Cremonese in Serie B for 6 months where he also scored just once. In the first pre season friendly against Pro Sesto, he played 45 minutes and hit the post.
Daniele Longo is reporting that Brescia remain insistent on signing Milan youngster Colombo to spearhead their attack in Serie B next season. They tried to include in the Sandro Tonali operation but only Giacomo Olzer made it into that deal.
Gazzetta dello Sport via Calcio Mercato are reporting that a number of Serie B clubs are interested in the striker and that will likely be his destination this summer. Previous reports indicate interest from SPAL, Crotone and Frosinone as well.
