Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan remain in the mix to sign CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic despite their opening offer being shot down. The will of the player is expected to be a key decider in this situation.
Calcio Mercato are reporting that there have been a number of incidents between Vlasic and CSKA Moscow in recent weeks as he wants to move away from the club. Milan have out in an offer that was turned down but the player looks to be forcing the hand of his club. He has missed a number of training sessions and spoken publicly regarding the situation.
The coach of CSKA Moscow Aleksei Berezutski via RSport has commented on the situation to say:
“Everyone knows the situation. Nikola said many times that he wants to change club and play at a higher level. This is normal and this is football, but Vlasic and his entourage must understand – no one will be let go for free. He costs a lot of money. He has a release clause. For such a situation the club is completely ready.”
