MilanNews.it are reporting that the expected friendly match between AC Milan and Juventus set for the 24 of July is unlikely to go ahead. There have been difficulties in organising the game hence it will not go ahead. The report adds that Milan are working to organise a back up game at the same time for their second outing of the pre season.

Antonio Vitiello is reporting that Milan will play Serie C side Modena this Saturday. This replaces the previously planned tie.

Update: AC Milan have confirmed the match on Twitter.

Milan played Pro Sesto last weekend and won 6-0 in their first friendly. They are also expected to face OGC Nice, Valencia, Real Madrid and Panathinaikos over the coming month or so. Stefano Pioli will likely get a number of his first team players in the next week or so such as Rebic, Kjaer, Giroud, Maignan amongst others. Kessie and Kalulu kick off at the Olympics in Tokyo this weekend.
