In January 2019, he moved to AS Monaco, with whom he played 74 games. Fodé collected 8 caps with the France U21 team, where he played the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. Fodé decided to play for the Senegal National team where he made his debut in March 2021 and has since collected 4 caps.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the deal is 4 million euros up front and potentially 500k more in bonuses for the left back.
