Olivier Giroud Arrives In Milan For Medicals Ahead Of Transfer To AC Milan

The veteran striker will be an important player for the next two years as the Rossoneri look to cement their return.

Antonio Vitiello has uploaded footage of Olivier Giroud visiting the La Madonnina Clinic to undergo his medicals ahead of his move from Chelsea FC to AC Milan on a two year deal. The France international arrived in Milan yesterday and will sign his contract with the club later today before returning to his holiday. He will return and begin training on the 26th of July as he was taking part at the Euros.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Giroud will join on a two year deal. Chelsea will receive 1 million euros up front and potentially another 1 million euros in bonuses. As previously reported the striker will receive a salary of 3.5 million euros per season as he supports Zlatan Ibrahimovic lead the Milan attack as the club returns to the Champions League.

In the past three years, Giroud has won the World Cup, Europa League and Champions League thus he brings a vital winning mentality to the club.
