Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan are working on a deal for Croatia international Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow to be the new no. 10 for the club. Vlasic is versatile having player as a winger, second striker and playmaker hence is desirable to Milan. Milan are trying to work on the transfer fee as the player has a release clause set at 35 million euros.
MilanNews.it are reporting that Vlasic is looking to force his hand to make the deal go through as CSKA Moscow are trying to gouge Milan for the full 35 million euros compared to Milan’s 25 million euro proposal of a paid loan with option to buy. There is distance in the talks at the moment as Moscow rejected Milan’s first offer but progress is expected in the coming days.
A report on Sempre Milan is stating that Vlasic has not been present at training for CSKA Moscow yesterday and was expected back given their league kicks off next week.
