Chelsea Striker Set To Arrive In Milan This Week For Medicals Ahead Of AC Milan Move

The France international is set to supplement Ibrahimovic in the attack this season.

MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have an agreement with Chelsea FC over the purchase of veteran France striker Olivier Giroud for 1 million euros and another 1 million in bonuses. The striker has a two year contract ready with Milan with the option for a third worth 3.5 million euros per year.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Giroud will fly to Milan this week to complete his medicals and sign his contract to complete the move. A number of reports indicate that the medicals have been scheduled for Friday, they were set to be at the beginning of the week but there were some unavoidable delays.

Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that Giroud will be in Milan for a few days but will then return on holiday until the 26th of July as he took part in the Euros with France. He will return to the group training about a month before the first game of the season which will be crucial for Stefano Pioli.
