Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan are working on back up options for the full backs both on the left and right. For the left, Milan are looking to sign Fode Ballo-Toure from AS Monaco to deputise Theo Hernandez for the upcoming season. He is reporting that Milan offered Monaco 4 million euros for the defender but the club are pushing for at least 4.5 million euros.

Daniele Longo is reporting that 5 million euros is the magic number to unlock the deal and is noting that only minor details are missing to complete the move. He reports that Monaco have committed to the player to allow him to join Milan.

Sky Italia via MilanNews.it are reporting that Monaco have already secured a replacement for Toure in Ismail Jakobs hence the deal will likely go through this week. Milan are working to close the deal very quickly as Stefano Pioli would like him in training soon.
