Sky Italia via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are targeting Croatia international Nikola Vlasic to potentially be the new trequartista for the club following the exit of Hakan Calhanoglu this summer. The CSKA Moscow attacker has been a standout performer in Russia as he had 12 goals and 6 assists in 34 games last season. At the UEFA Euro 2020 he played all of Croatia’s games scoring one goal against Scotland as his side got knocked out in the round of sixteen.

Vlasic is expected to cost 25 million euros and the Rossoneri are working to propose a loan with an option to buy to CSKA Moscow for the 23 year old. The deal could be a loan with an obligation to buy if his side push for a permanent solution being included in the deal.

Reports on Twitter are noting that Vlasic began following Milan’s social media accounts yesterday.
