Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan left back Diego Laxalt who has spent the season on loan in Scotland with Celtic FC is set to return to the club as he will not be signed permanently despite early signs of a deal materialising. The defender is not considered to be a part of the first team at Milan hence the club will look to sell him this summer and generate some revenue.

Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that the Uruguay international is being followed by Besiktas and FC Porto for a move this summer. The defender still has a contract until the summer of 2022 but is considered excess to requirements hence will certainly move on. Milan are waiting to receive offers as they are confident to be able to generate a fair chunk of revenue from his sale.

The agent of the player via HITC has said:

“Dynamo Moscow are really interested in Diego. Moreover, the club has already contacted Milan regarding his transfer.”
