MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are going to reopen discussions with UEFA on Financial Fair Play to talk about the financial position of the club as they return to the Premier European competition after seven years and after a couple of years in the Europa League. The talks had been deferred due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the rules were temporarily suspended due to the dire financial circumstance facing almost all clubs across the continent.
Milan will be going into the talks to discuss a settlement agreement as with previous years but Milan come back on a different footing as the finances have been stable and improving despite volatile market conditions. The boost in revenues from the UCL will further improve this. The report states that there is confidence filtering from Casa Milan as the changes made by the club have been appreciated by UEFA and the settlement agreement will be a positive for the club going forward.
