Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan midfielder Tommaso Pobega who has been on loan at Spezia could be a part of the first team next season despite interest from clubs such as Eintracht Frankfurt and Leeds United for his services.

MilanLive.it are reporting that newly promoted Salernitana are interested in the player after his impressive spell with Spezia where he helped the side avoid relegation and pull off some major upsets with his 6 goals and 3 assists from central midfield this season. The player has also been playing with the Italy U21 side where he has been good too in the U21 Euros and qualifications scoring 3 goals in 6 games. The player could be loaned out again to further develop before competing for a spot in Milan’s crowded midfield.

Carlo Pellegatti via MilanNews.it believes that Pobega’s future is set to be decided during the pre-season after Stefano Pioli evaluates whether or not he can fit into the midfield outfit.
