Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan are set to receive about 5-6 million euros from the permanent sale of defender Leo Duarte to Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey where he has been on loan for the tail end of this past season. He played 17 games for the side and is appreciated there. The report notes that Milan will avoid a capital loss on the player as a result of a redemption which will be due in January 2022.
Calcio Mercato add that a meeting was held between the agents of Duarte and Milan’s management at Casa Milan this past week to discuss the same. They note that the club would like to redeem the player this summer instead of waiting until January next year and state that the price is set at 5.5 million euros. The club is reportedly facing some competition hence they are considering to exercise their priority and close a permanent move for the Brazilian.
