AC Milan Women have lost another player as the end of the football year arrives with defender Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi announcing on Instagram that she will be leaving the club. She does not mention where she will be going next but it is likely she is leaving to look for more playing time as she was unable to break into the starting eleven past Valentina Giacinti and Natasha Dowie. The 29 year old has previously played for Fiorentina, Espanyol and Florentia.
Rinaldi played 19 games last season for the Rossonere where she scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist as she helped the side finish 2nd in the league securing Champions League football and making it to the final of the Coppa Italia Femminile. She managed to play 9 games and score 3 goals in the previous one - her first season with the club.
This follows the exit of striker Natasha Dowie as we reported here.
