Official: AC Milan Women Lose Key Striker As She Signs For Reading

Milan will need to replace her with another quality player as she was a key part of the unit last season.

AC Milan Women have lost one of their key strikers from last season as Natasha Dowie has announced on Instagram that she has signed a deal with Reading in the UK following just one season with the Rossonere. She was an integral part of the group that secured Champions League football for the first time ever in the history of the club and made it to the final of the Coppa Italia Femminile. She wore the no. 10 jersey and did it justice with 14 goals and 6 assists in her debut season in Italy. Dowie joined us from Melbourne Victory in Australia and partnered up front with captain Valentina Giacinti for the season where Milan finished 2nd in the league.

Milan Women will now scramble to replace the highly effective outgoing striker as they prepare to play in the Champions League for the first time and look to fight for the Scudetto.
