Milan are considering Coutinho to replace Hakan Calhanoglu who left on a free transfer earlier this month.

Tuttosport separately via are reporting that given the high expected cost to buy the player, Milan could look to a swap deal involving captain and centre back Alessio Romagnoli as part of this deal. Barcelona have been interested in Romagnoli for a while but the deal seems complicated due to the wage issue.
