Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AC Milan are close to securing the remain of Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz following his year long loan at the club. The player will arrive on another year long loan deal with an option to buy. The option has been set at 25 million euros while Real Madrid will have the option of a buy back clause set at 30/31 million euros. The deal is expected to be closed imminently as the Rossoneri are expected to kick off their pre season in the coming weeks.

This agreement shows the strong relationship between Madrid and Milan as well as the commitment to reopen talks in the summer being honoured by the Spanish club. The desire of the player to remain was a big driver of the talks as he played a key part in Milan’s return to the Champions League this season with his 7 goals and 4 assists.
