MilanNews.it are reporting that Marcel Sabitzer from RB Leipzig could be an option for AC Milan this summer alongside Hakim ZIyech from Chelsea and Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid as they look to replace Hakan Calhanoglu.
Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that Sabitzer has been linked to Milan in the past and could be one of the cost effective options to fill the gap. The attacking midfielder has a contract expiring next year hence this could facilitate negotiations.
The Austria international had 9 goals and 7 assists in 39 games across all competitions last season. The 27 year old has played for both RB Salzburg an RB Leipzig, he has been with the latter since the 2015/16 season in the second division and risen up with them helping out with 52 goals and 42 assists in that time.
Sabitzer’s Austria face Italy in the round of 16 of the Euros on Saturday.
