AC Milan Could Lose Their 50% Future Sale Revenue On Atalanta Attacking Midfielder

The player could be a good option to add to the mix competing with Brahim Diaz to avoid a significant wasted revenue opportunity.

Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan are heading toward a sticky situation with Atalanta attacking midfielder Matteo Pessina as the club are set to lose their 50% future sale value on the player. If Pessina makes 100 appearances for the Bergamo based club, Milan will only be entitled to 3 million euros as a bonus. This would be a major blow for the club as a lost opportunity given how well the player has been performing over the past three seasons and now with Italy at the Euros too.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Milan are evaluating the opportunity to sign the player for half off as the 50% clause still exists. Milan are in need of an attacking midfielder and one who will not break the bank. AS Roma are also looking at the player whilst Atalanta want to tie him down to a contract renewal.

The 24 year old has played 59 games for Atalanta in all competitions where he has scored 4 goals and contributed 3 assists from a slightly deeper lying playmaker role.
