AC Milan Tracking Hellas Verona Attacking Midfielder To Replace Hakan Calhanoglu

Milan are working to find a starter but Zaccagni seems better as a depth option.

Sky Italia via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have indeed been watching Hellas Verona attacking midfielder Mattia Zaccagni for a while now. The outlet is reporting that Milan will look to use the likes of Mattia Caldara and Andrea Conti in the deal to reduce the cash price. Milan are competing with Napoli for his signature.

Pietro Balzano Prota is reporting that not only Napoli but Lazio as well are working to sign Zaccagni. Prota notes that Zaccagni is unlikely to be a starter but attacking depth as he can occupy multiple positions in the attack.

MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan are considering the 26 year old as a potential replacement for the outgoing Hakan Calhanoglu. Milan are working on reducing the 20 million euro asking price by including some out of favour players.

Tuttosport via MilanNews.it are reporting that Napoli are in the race but Champions League could be a differentiator for the player. This outlet also reports that Caldara and Conti will be expected to go the other way.
