Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AC Milan are very close to securing a deal to bring back Real Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz back to the San Siro following his year long loan. The agreement looks set to be a year long loan with an option to buy but Madrid will maintain a buy back clause in the contract.

Calciomercato.it are reporting that Milan that the clubs are working on the buy out clause. The reported figures are 20 million euros for the buy out option for Milan and 25-27 million euros for the buy back option for Madrid. The Spain international is liked by both teams hence they are looking to maintain options to keep him permanently.

The signing of Diaz becomes that much more important as Calhanoglu will be leaving Milan for free this week to join Inter Milan thus a familiar face at the position will be helpful to Pioli.
