Daniele Longo is reporting that AC Milan left back Diego Laxalt who spent last season on loan with Celtic FC in Scotland will be travelling from Uruguay to Russia to undertake his medicals today. The defender has spent three seasons as a Milan player but has spent one and a half of those years on loan at Torino at Celtic as he was considered excess to requirements.

As we reported here, there is an agreement between Milan and Dinamo Moscow to sign the player for 4 million euros as the player is happy to accept the move following a marginalised spell in Milan over the years given the presence and preference of Ricardo Rodriguez and then Theo Hernandez.

He has only played 35 games for Milan across three seasons where he contributed 1 assist. He was signed for about 18 million euros in the summer of 2018 by Fassone and Mirabelli.
