MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan’s management are set to meet Davide Calabria’s agents to discuss a contract extension. The plan is to offer the player a new four year deal until the summer of 2026. He is likely set to be offered 2 million euros per year. The player has been one of the top performers for the club this season but has suffered injuries and had two surgeries.

Nicolo Schira reported a while back that Calabria is set for a renewal discussion as his deal expires next summer. He is expected to get a major pay rise and will be the only surviving Primavera player in the first time as Locatelli, Cutrone and Donnarumma are all gone now.

Tuttosport via MilanNews.it go a step further to note that Calabria could be the new symbol of the club as the only surviving Primavera player and that he could be one of the candidates to be captain or vice-captain.

Calabria spoke to Sportweek via MilanNews.it and said:

“Playing for Milan was my dream, now the goal is to win with this shirt.”
