The move makes sense as he rounds out our unit thus the delays are baffling.

MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan’s deadline to redeem Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali following his year long loan has elapsed. This throws the deal into turmoil with reports going in both directions claiming a breakdown and breakthrough in talks with President Massimo Cellino in recent days.

Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan are Brescia are still engaged in talks for a deal for the midfielder and note that Lorenzo COlombo could be brought into the talks.

There seemed to be an agreement between the parties over a discount last week as we reported here but this seems to no longer be the case as Milan pressed for a further concession. It is odd to see Maldini and Massara playing hardball for Tonali given how good he has been and the potential he has shown for the future. It remains to be seen if this is just a bureaucratic delay or a genuine breaking point in talks between the two sides.
