Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan will look to sell centre back Mattia Caldara this summer as he returns from his 18 month loan at Atalanta which was plagued by injuries. The Rossoneri are looking to receive 7-8 million euros for the player. Caldara has struggled with injuries since joining from Juventus in exchange for Leonardo Bonucci in the summer of 2018.

Nicolo Schira is reporting that a number of clubs especially from Serie A are interested in the defender including Cagliari, Genoa and Hellas Verona thus Milan will likely look to cash in while they still can.

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Genoa are accelerating for Caldara as they hope to secure a double swoop from Milan including Andrea Conti in the coming weeks.

The defender has shockingly only played 2 matches for Milan and 4 for Milan’s Primavera in his three season with the club.
