The rumours around AC Milan moving for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez on a free transfer are taking off this week. Vazquez spoke to The Athletic via MilanNews.it to say,

“I don’t know what will happen. My agents are doing a great job to get the best for me. I’m lucky to play for Real, a club I cheered for as a child. Whether I change shirt or stay, I will always be a Real fan.”

Calcio Mercato are reporting that Milan have followed Vazquez in the past and see his versatility to play at either right wing or right back as a major bonus. They note that Vazquez is looking to get 5 million euros per season.

MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan have a good relationship with Real Madrid with two deals in the previous two summers with Theo Hernandez in 2019 and Brahim Diaz in 2020, this could be the next one. The 29 year old is appreciated but is a slight risk as he is currently out injured and it may take a while to recover and get back to his peak fitness.
